Wow, you had better take it easy. And I hope you will be playing golf this time next month.
That ice can be treacherous. I went for my walk yesterday and had to be very careful as there was ice just under the snow on our road. It sneaks up on you.
Glad your surgery went well.

Thanks Bunny. It's amazing what they can do these days. I am feeling good already, but I have to be careful not to do this again. I do have osteoporosis and am susceptible to further problems.
Sorry to hear about your fall and glad you are on the mend.
Speaking of osteoporosis... at my last check-up a couple weeks ago, I realized I had lost 2 inches in height from my younger years. Have not paid much attention in the last several years when they measured me, but did this time and was shocked. So.... went in for a bone density test. Have not received the results. Now I know why my size "tall" slacks were getting longer !!##@$## ;o)
Peggi, Thanks for the well wishes.
Bunny, They have pills you can take now for osteo. I've been on a once a week pill (as a result of poor bone density test early last year) and now adding calcium.

Hey, all you gals out there ought to take heed of this, and get a bone density test. I have lost a little in height too. A compression fracture in her spine is what has slowed Mom down. Actually she has several vertebrae involved. She had one surgery where they injected cement and she had immediate pain relief, but then I think more compressions after that. Now her lungs are crowded from her resulting posture and it makes it hard for her to take deep breaths and she gets winded easily now. Glad you got fixed up right away Carol and are ont he medication. Beautiful flowers that sweet hubby of yours brought you! To a speedy recovery!!
Love, Nanc
