ID's Needed

Here is a photo that needs some identification. It was taken in front of Bruce & Amy's house on Ash St. in Portland. Click on the photo to enlarge.

Peggi has given me some clarification, so I've made the corrections below, but still not sure about the lady next to Amy.

From left to right:
Amy, Great Grandma St.Clair (Frank's Mom Mary Rose), Wes Hickman, Marian Hickman, Grandma Pansy (holding Carol?), Grandpa Frank (holding Clair?). Peggi & Sharon Hickman are standing in front of Grandma Pansy.

Wes and Marian Hickman in back....I thought that was Grandpa Frank's mom next to Amy tho?? I have no clue..for some reason she looks like the Grandma Mary I recall in photos. I will find out if she was alive then.

Hi Again...I just spoke to Mom about this photo. She says it was taken when the Klocks lived on Ash street in East Portland. The year was 1952 and that is Mary Rose, our Great Grandmother, mother of Frank St Clair. Mom was pregant with Rian, who would be born in August of that year. We concluded that this photo was likely taken in May or June. Possibly around Mothers Day or even Fathers Day. Mom said Amy made a delicious potato salad at this reunion, and that she was a very good cook in general.
I can remember being at this house, I mostly recall the tall trees. I would have been turning 4 in July of this year and Sharon was turning 6 in November.

Peggi... thanks for this additional information. That must be me in Pansy's arms. I would have been just a month or two old (in May or July). Clair would have been just over one year old. Maye my Dad was the photographer.

Geez... you have a great memory Peggi, and so does your Mom. That was a long time ago. Another great photo. Wonderful to get a photo of Grandma Mary Rose as she is the one several of us have quilts from. I have a quilt top -- Nancy has a quilt which was in a book written about quilts in Alaska. I bought the book after Nancy told me about it. Your Mom has a quilt as well Peggi. Does anyone else have a quilt or top that was made by Great Grandma Mary Rose?
